Headings can be added to a notebook page to help organize the page content and to apply a structure that makes it easier to read and navigate through the notebook page. For example, a heading may be applied before key sections on a page such as the experimental design or protocol, the experimental notes and observations, raw data, or to simply describe the attachment or image that may follow the heading. See the Example Notebook Page article for example of how to incorporate headings onto notebook pages.
To add a heading to a notebook page, select Heading from the +New Add Entry menu. Heading can also be inserted between existing entries using the Insert menu.
A text box will appear where you can customize and your text to the heading. Once you're finished, click Save to Page to add it to your notebook.
The heading will appear in a shaded banner with larger, bolded-font, making it easy to distinguish from different sections of the page for better navigation.
